The fine print
No surprises at the dock. If something here isn't clear, ask us before you book.
No — and that's deliberate. You send a request, we hold your date while we review it, and we confirm before taking any payment. It means we never double-book a boat that's out on another platform.
Only when we approve your request. Your card is saved securely with Stripe when you request the date, but nothing is taken until we confirm.
We run from sunrise to sunset — roughly 06:30–20:30. Charters are booked in blocks of 3, 4, 6, 8 HR.
Up to 8 guests plus your captain — 9 people aboard in total.
Yes. Cancel more than 24 hours before departure and you get a full refund, no questions asked.
Within 24 hours, refunds apply only for unsafe weather — lightning, storms or high winds. Light rain or cloud cover doesn't qualify: those days are often the best ones on the water.
If we call off a charter for weather or a mechanical issue, you choose: full refund or a new date at no cost.
It's an authorization on your card, not a charge. The money never leaves your account — your bank simply reserves it. We place it shortly before your trip and release it afterwards if there are no incidents.
Only for damage, excessive cleaning or a late return that costs us the next charter. We'd always talk to you first.
No. Fuel is billed separately based on what you actually use, so a gentle day on the Intracoastal costs less than a fast run offshore. It is never charged at checkout.
A late return is $85 per 30 min. It isn't charged automatically — we invoice it only if it applies.
Yes, subject to availability, with at least 1 hour's notice so we don't leave the next guests waiting.
Grounding carries a $150 fee. Stick to the marked channels and you'll be fine — we'll walk you through them before you leave.
No. Both SeaRay SPX boats are for Intracoastal cruising only. The Key West Center Console is the one boat authorized for fishing and offshore runs.
If you rent without a captain, Florida requires a FWC boating safety course. You'll be asked to confirm this when you request your date. Not sure? Add a captain and we'll handle it.
Yes, but tell us in advance so we bring the right sizes aboard.
Snack packages need at least 48 hours' notice — they're made fresh, not pulled off a shelf. The booking form disables them automatically if your date is too close.
Absolutely. Bring a cooler. We just ask that whatever comes aboard leaves with you.
Only when you rent without a captain — you're the one operating the boat, and it protects both of us against fraud and payment disputes.
It's stored encrypted, it's never public, and only the owner can view it. We delete it automatically 90 days after your charter.
We never see them. Payments run entirely through Stripe.
